Wolves host Ipswich on Saturday lunchtime with both sides desperate for a place in the play-offs. After going on such a great run to get themselves into the playoffs, Wolves have put their hopes of back to back promotions in jeopardy with consecutive defeats in the last week away to Birmingham and Middlesbrough.

Kenny Jackett's side now sit on 71 points with three games left, three points behind their opponets but with a far worse goal difference as in they'd need a four goal victory in this one to go above the Tractor boys with Brentford also in the equation.

Ipswich meanwhile have been consistent all season with Mick McCarthy's team constantly in or around the play-off picture and now it's very much within their own hands of possibly making Wembley and ultimately the Premier League for the first time in 13 years.

Their form has been genrally good as of late with the Suffolk outfit picking up 13 points from their last six outings but perhaps their consistency of performance is an issue as they lost and then barely beat strugglers Huddersfield and long time relegated Blackpool in recent weeks.

Stats

Wolves have won five of their last six home games, scoring 19 goals in the process.

Ipswich have only won one of their last 12 games at Wolves but did win the reverse fixture 3-1 from earlier on in the season.
