Here is the City Sport understand that Uwe Rosler wants to fetch Foxes defender Liam Moore into Elland Road as his first signing since taking over from Neil Redfearn in the summer.

Leeds United are looking at increasing cover in the central defensive position if Sol Bamba doesn't accept an offer of a permanent deal at Elland Road.

Moore, 22, has been with Leicester all of his career to date and has had loan spells with Bradford and one of Rosler's former clubs, Brentford.

During his time at the King Power Stadium Moore has made 66 appearances, scoring once.

While on-loan at Bradford, Moore couldn't find a goal in his 22 apperances with the Bantams and when at Brentford under Rosler, Moore impressed during the 10 games he played at Griffin Park.

Elsewhere, Leeds United have confirmed that 19-year old midfielder Kalvin Phillips has agreed a new two-year deal at Elland Road.

Phillips broke into the first team at Elland Road last season and made his debut away at Wolves and scored his first senior goal for the club in the 2-1 defeat at home against Cardiff City. Phillips follows fellow youngsters Alex Purver, Jake Skelton, Luke Parkin, Tom Lyman, Frank Mulhern, Bailey Peacock-Farrell & Tyler Denton in extending his future at the Yorkshire club.
