Newcastle United head to London looking to avenge the injustices that prevailed in their defeat to Manchester City, when Cheick Tiote's first half goal was ruled out. Without a win since boxing day, times are getting desperate for Alan Pardew's players.

"It was so disappointing for our players," Pardew said of the disallowed goal against Manchester City.

"But we now look to West Ham. We know it's a tough game and we've got to be ready."

Despite how dire the situtation, Pardew is remaining confident heading to West Ham.

"We've lost the last four, but we have played well in three of them," Pardew said.

"It's time to turn a corner at West Ham."

West Ham are hoping to build up some momentum in a tight relegation battle after beating Cardiff City 2-0 last week.

They have not won a home game since November, but they are hoping to change that after welcoming back Andy Carroll.

"We've done our homework on them (Newcastle) we've got a gameplan for them, we know their strengths and weaknesses and we have to exploit those weaknesses," said assistant manager, Neil McDonald.
