After the embarassment of 3-0 defeat in his first South Wales derby, Solskjaer returns to the Cardiff City Stadium looking for another win in front of the home fans. Cardiff sit in 19th place, three points off safety after the weekend's game and tonight's game against Aston Villa is set to be a real battle.

"This is a massive game for all of us. Home games are going to be key because you have more chance of picking up the points you need," said Solskjaer.

He has called on his side to improve defensively ahead of tonight's game, Cardiff have conceded 12 league goals since Solskjaer took charge.

"We concede too many goals at the moment to have any chance of winning games. We can't let in two goals and expect to score three."

Aston Villa were booed by their home fans in their last game after they suffered a 2-0 home defeat to West Ham United.

Villa had gone on a mini revival at the end of January, but that was stopped when they lost 2-1 away at Everton.

Aston Villa manager, Paul Lambert is relaxed about the trip to Wales.

"The onus is on the home team to make the running because they have the majority of the crowd.

"I don't go away from home thinking lose or draw, I always go away trying to win," he added.
