After winning at his former employers on Saturday, Steve Bruce heads back to the KC Stadium looking to secure Hull City's first home win of 2014. Hull have not win on home soil since their 6-0 win over Fulham, but the signs have positive for the Tigers. New signings Nikica Jelavic and Shane Long have begun to form a partnership and they both scored in the 2-0 win at Sunderland.

Steve Bruce has outlined a target for them: " They have looked a real threat right from the word go and, if they can go on to get ten goals between them by the end of the season, that would be terrific."

Steve Bruce knows all too well of the difficult task they have against Southampton. The Saints swept them away at the St Mary's Stadium in the reverse fixture as they ran out 4-1 winners.

"It was our hardest game of the season down there. We got our backsides kicked, particularly in the first half, we were all over the place," Bruce said.

Southampton were left frustrated by their last game, despite taking the lead twice they could only manage a 2-2 draw at home to Stoke City.

However, despite this, Maurico Pochettino is still pleased with the way things are going at Southampton.

"We're having very good performances, we're playing good football overall and I believe we're on the right path.

Tomorrow we have a very tough game at Hull and hopefully we're going to repeat the peformances we've been having."
