Leicester City are looking to sign Sporting Lisbon striker Islam Slimani according to the Daily Mail.
The 26-year-old, who impressed with Algeria at the World Cup , will cost around £7million.
He scored against South Korea and Russia as the Fennec Foxes reached the Round of 16, where they were knocked by eventual winners Germany.
He enjoyed a reasonable season at Sporting last year as he scored eight goals in 26 starts for the club.
The Foxes could face competition from West Ham United, who have also been interested in the striker.
