Manchester City will start the season without striker Alvaro Negredo after the Spanish forward picked up a pre season injury. Despite this bad news I can't see it hampering the title holders start of season as Sergio Aguero or Stefan Jovetic can slot into the #9 role. The signing of Willy and Fernando will add quality squad depth to an already quality squad. The departure of Jolean Lescott won't affect the Citizens as they aim to defend their title. (Prediction - 2nd)

Liverpool will be without key man Luis Suarez after the controversial striker left the club in a big money move to Barcelona. Brendan Rodgers has spent the cash from the Suarez sale on a whole host of players. Lamber, Lallana, Markovic are 3 of Rodgers acquisitions and it's heavily rumoured Divock Origi and Dejan Lovren will arrive at Anfield too. Liverpool may, however, struggle to hit the heights of last season and will fight for top four this season. (Prediction - 5th)

Chelsea have heavily improved their squad, bringing in first team players Cesc Fabregas, Diego Costa and Filipe Luis. This week also marked the return of Didier Drogba to the bridge to be reunited with Mourinho. Chelsea legends Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole both departed the Bridge but with the new acquisitions added into the already talented squad, Chelsea will arguably be the favourites for the title. (Prediction - 1st)

Arsenal have signed Barcelona and Chile winger Alexis Sanchez in a big money move, with will fill all Arsenal fans with glee and expectation, much like when Mesut Özil arrived from Madrid. David Ospina was added to the squad for £2.5m from OGC Nice and will be a good competition for Scezsney at the Emirates. A good start to the season followed by a mid season slump with a solids ending will see the Gunners seal a top for finish, no more no less. (As always) (Prediction - 4th)
