West Ham's defensive midfield powerhouse Mohamed Diame appears to be moving to Hull City with a deadline day transfer. According to reports a transfer fee of up to £4 million pounds has been agreed between the two clubs.

West Ham manager Sam Allardyce has already signed midfield duo Kouyate and Alex Song (latter on-loan) and it seems as though Diame is unsettled by the battle for places in the squad now. Hull have been looking for midfielders throughout the summer, and Diame could be the last piece in the puzzle for Steve Bruce's side, with Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley set to join Aston Villa instead of the Tigers.

It looks to be a surprising move for Hull, who want to strengthen in every position and Diame will help them do that. He should be announced as a Hull player in the next few hours, once the medical and personal terms are completed.
