Burnley head to the King Power Stadium in search of their first goal since the opening weekend of the season.

The Clarets have failed to find the net in their last five Premier League matches since Scott Arfield gave them the lead against Chelsea in their opening game of the season.

However, manager Sean Dyche is confident his side can finally get another goal on the board:

"This season after six games in the Premier League we've had 72 efforts at goal and 37 on target which is a statistically higher amount.

"We're not a zealot to stats but, as I say, we use them to guide us and if those stats weren't as strong as what they are, then we'd start questioning ourselves," Dyche said.

The performances have been reasonable from Burnley with last week's 4-0 defeat to West Brom- the only hammering the side has took since its promotion to the Premier League.

There is also no shortage of team spirit in the camp, as new signing George Boyd suggests:

'The boys have been great and have made me feel really welcome. I'm loving the training and it's nice to be playing week in, week out.

'It's very similar to last year with Hull. We had a great team spirit there and that alone will get you several points a season."

Despite the contrast in starts, Leicester manager Nigel Pearson is well aware of the threat Burnley possess. The Foxes have started the season well and currently sit in 12th after impressive wins over Stoke City and Manchester United.

"We expect it to be a tough game," the 51-year-old manager told the club's official website.

"We know them from last season. They were a side that did exceptionally well based on not just a hard-working ethic, but they showed qualities last year of being mentally and technically competitive and I would fully expect them to show that throughout this season as well."

He also cited the importance of the game in terms of Leicester's goals this season: “These are the sorts of games we need to pick up a lot of points from. I think history would bear that out as being an important factor in team’s seasons.”
