The day of Manchester City - Tottenham Hotspur has often been a day of goals. Yet, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has warned his side that they must forget the past results against the Premier League Champions if they are to avoid another trouncing from Manuel Pellegrini side.

"This is another season, another philosophy, another game and we need to arrive on Saturday with the idea to believe in our philosophy and style and try to get the points."

Pochettino's side enjoyed a winning start to the season against West Ham and Queens Park Rangers before taking a beating at home to Liverpool. Since then, they've lost one in seven games, to West Brom who are 14th after seven games.

Manchester City have no fresh injury concerns following the international break but Samir Nasri and Fernandinho remain out of action. 

Spurs have doubts over Hugo Lloris and Nacer Chadli while Kyle Naughton is out with an ankle problem and Emmanuel Adebayor and Nalib Bentaleb are both to be assessed before the match.
