Burnley and Leicester City meet at Turf Moor on Saturday in a huge game that neither side will want to lose down at the bottom of the Barclays Premier League.

Sean Dyche will highlight the significance of this fixture to all of his players, just incase they didn’t already know the importance of this one in the battle to beat the drop. The Clarets sit bottom of the pile after last week's 1-0 loss versus Everton at Goodison Park, but a win over the Foxes could see them climb out of the relegation zone this weekend should results go their way, that’s how tight it is down there. They come into the game in a run of worrying form, with just 1 win in their last 12, after what seemed a positive spell where they climbed out of the relegation zone for a couple of games over the winter period.

As for The Foxes, they have really turned optimism into momentum in the last three weeks, winning their last three games - West Ham, West Brom and Swansea, and Pearson's men will be looking to continue their run of hot form when they travel to Turf Moor on Saturday. It would be simply incredible if a side almost condemned to relegation after six months sitting bottom of the table could make a great escape, and it would certainly pull them closer to the shore with a win over relegation rivals Burnley, and could put them as high as 16th this weekend.

Team News:

Burnley will be without Ashley Barnes, who was sent off in their defeat to Everton last week, as he serves his one-match ban.

Lukas Jutkiewicz or Michael Kightly could start in place of Barnes at Turf Moor, meanwhile the Clarets will also be without long-term absentee Dean Marney misses out as he continues to recover from his torn ACL.

David Nugent is a major doubt for the clash for Leicester as he is struggling with a calf injury he sustained in the warm-up ahead of his side's win over Swansea City.

Marcin Wasilewski is also doubtful after missing the second half of the victory over Swansea, however Ritchie de Laet is expected to replace him if need be.

Predicted line-ups:

Burnley:
Heaton, Trippier, Duff, Shackell, Mee, Boyd, Arfield, Jones, Kightly, Vokes, Ings

Leicester City:
Schmeichel, Wasilewski, Huth, Morgan, Albrighton, King, Cambiasso, Schlupp, Ulloa, Vardy, Kramaric.

Match Statistics:

Head-to-head :

Leicester have won on their last three trips to Turf Moor. They have never managed four victories in a row at Burnley.  Burnley are winless in eight meetings since triumphing 3-0 at home in the Championship in August 2010. However, Leicester's only top-flight success in 21 matches at Burnley came in February 1929.  This is the 100th league meeting between the clubs. Burnley lead by 39 wins to Leicester's 30, with 30 draws.

Burnley:

Burnley have only scored one goal in their last seven league matches. It is six hours and 29 minutes since George Boyd's winner against Manchester City.

That is their only victory in 12 Premier League matches (W1, D3, L8).  The Clarets are bottom of the table for the first time since 22 November. Sean Dyche's side have conceded 17 goals from headers and 11 goals from corners this season, both league-high tallies. Top scorer Danny Ings has gone 13 hours and 14 minutes - spanning eight league matches - without a goal.

Leicester City:

The Foxes are vying to win four successive top-flight matches in the same season for the first time since September-October 1966. They have won all three of their games so far this month, having previously gone 17 Premier League fixtures without a victory.

Nigel Pearson's side were bottom of the table for 140 days before last weekend's win over Swansea; no team has ever been bottom for that long in a single Premier League season and avoided relegation. Leicester could score at least two goals in five consecutive top-flight matches for the first time since January to March 1986. Their tally of 10 goals in four league matches is as many as they managed in the 14 games before that. David Nugent has scored in eight of his last 11 league appearances against his former side Burnley.
