Arsenal host the league leaders Chelsea on Sunday afternoon, with Jose Mourinho's men just a few points away from winning the Barclays Premier League - ten points ahead of the Gunners with six matches left to play.

Arsenal look to eradicate the prolonged extent of their consistent fourth place finishes and league title drought since 2003-2004 by the display of excellent form in the 2015 calendar year. Alexis Sanchez (nominee for Player of the Year), Santi Cazorla, and Olivier Giroud have been outstanding, building great chemistry leading to impressive goals of great individual skill.

Arsenal (20-6-6) with 66 points are one point ahead of Manchester United and two points ahead of Manchester City with the game in hand against Chelsea. Arsenal reached their second consecutive FA Cup final (current FA Cup holders) this past weekend after defeating Reading 2-1, courtesy of two Alexis Sanchez goals. They will face Tim Sherwood's Aston Villa at Wembley Stadium May 30th.

Chelsea (23-7-2) at 76 points are a whopping ten points ahead of Arsenal after defeating United 1-0. A crafty backheel pass from Oscar to Eden Hazard saw a shot that nutmegged David De Gea. Therefore, Chelsea need to just win against Arsenal and relegation-threatened side Leicester City in order to claim their third title under Jose Mourinho as manager.

Manager Quotes:

Jose Mourinho:

"For me he is not my rival, I don't feel that,” Mourinho said. “I just feel he's the manager of a big club in the same city where I work and live. We're big clubs with the same objectives and because of that there will always come a little bit of rivalry but for me it's no different to when I was at Inter with the Milan managers or in Real [Madrid] with the Atletico managers.

"I'm not proud [of his record over Wenger], for me an achievement is to win [on Sunday], not the other 12 matches that we played before against Arsenal, I don't look to this. Every match is a match, no relation to the previous or the next one, what they [the players] care about is the way we work all week and the way we prepare ourselves for the game."

Additionally, Mourinho gave confirmation that Didier Drogba is fit after his apparent ankle injury, with Diego Costa and Loic Remy still suffering from injury. Even though it would be great to see a Chelsea youth squad player like Dominic Solanke get minutes, under the Portuguese man it usually seems unlikely.

Arsene Wenger:

"When you are fighting for the championship - and I know that well - when you are on a good run, sometimes you take points that in another season if you were two or three places behind, you would not take," he said. "The focus and belief is there and is a bit stronger that we can take these points. The difference between the teams is not only measured by the difference in points. But nobody has given Chelsea the points. They had to fight for it and they made it."

Cesc Fabregas will be making his first return back to the Emirates Stadium since leaving for La Liga giants Barcelona back in 2011. Per Mertesacker is still suffering from an ankle injury, leaving pacey Gabriel Paulista to most likely remain in the squad next to Laurent Koscielny. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Mikel Arteta will also not make an appearance due to a hamstring injury and lack of fitness. However, the gradually rising form of Hector Bellerín and Francis Coquelin have seen them as some of the most underrated players this season.

Predicted starting line-up:

Arsenal: Ospina, Bellerin, Koscielny, Gabriel, Monreal, Coquelin, Ramsey, Ozil, Cazorla, Sanchez and Giroud.

Chelsea: Courtois, Ivanovic, Terry, Cahill, Azpilcueta, Matic, Fabregas, Willian, Oscar, Hazard and Drogba.

Match Facts:

Mathieu Debuchy and Jack Wilshere are available now after suffering from injuries. Arsenal have won their last nine home matches in the Barclays Premier League.

Chelsea have won their last five away matches in the Barclays Premier League. Rumour is that Diego Costa might be making a return in this fixture, but it is still unlikely.

Arsenal were leading at half time in the last eight Barclays Premier League matches that they have won consecutively. They have scored at least two goals in each of these matches.

Chelsea have kept a clean sheet in their previous four matches against Arsenal across all competitions.

Key Players:

Alexis Sanchez: Alexis Sanchez is coming off the magnificent performance against Reading in which he scored a brace. If he penetrates along with the likes of Mesut Özil and Santi Cazorla quickly and efficiently when Branislav Ivanovic and Cesar Azpilicueta go up the pitch offensively, they could give John Terry and Gary Cahill a very hard job on the back line.

Eden Hazard: The consistent dribbling and creating ability of Eden Hazard has been a key factor in Chelsea's title ambitions this season. With Didier Drogba likely up front who suffers physically from his old age, Eden Hazard will need to aggressive in finding his teammates or attempting shots on goal. If Hazard can draw the usual amounts of fouls he gets per game, he could frustrate the Per Mertesacker-less defence.
