Having spent the last six months steering the fortunes of Spanish side Real Sociedad, David Moyes now finds himself on the radar of Premier League clubs Newcastle United and West Ham United.

The North-East side find themselves in a torrid time at present. After losing eight consecutive league games, John Carver's side find themselves in a desperate relegation battle - with only nine points left to play for in the current Barclay's Premier League season. Derby County boss Steve McClaren has been a strong favourite to take the reins at St James' Park, but after their final day Championship heart ache, the former England manager insists he is '100% committed' to the Rams - which has put Moyes in the running for what is likely to be a vacant job in the summer.

The one-time Manchester United manager, Moyes, could also be the answer to the love-hate relationship between West Ham United supporters and their boss Sam Allardyce. 'Big Sam', as he is more commonly known, is three games away from steering the South London club to a top half finish.  After the blistering start they made to the current campaign, some have been left disappointed by their drop in form during the second-half of the season.

Under Moyes, the West Ham United faithful may finally be granted their wish of silky, fast, attacking football; similar to what we saw in Moyes' peak times at Goodison Park under Everton, and also to what he is trying to replicate in the cusps of La Liga.

One thing that can be said for sure is that deep down, David Moyes must have one eye back on the Premier League. The 52-year-old certainly would relish the chance to return to England after his painful departure from Old Trafford over twelve months ago, where he could potentially prove all his critics wrong.
