Leicester City are understood to have yet reached an agreement regarding the leaving terms with recently sacked manager, Nigel Pearson.

Pearson was dismissed on Tuesday by the club, with him and billionaire Thai owner  Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha seemingly having "fundamental differences" regarding the future of the club.

One of the fundamental reasons behind Pearson's departure was the way he defended his son, James Pearson, after he and two other of City's reserve squad players were involved in a sex tape scandal whilst on a post season tour in Thailand, the home country of the Foxes owners.

This caused great humiliation for both the Thai owners and the club itself, which led to the sacking of all three of the players, of which included Tom Hopper and Adam Smith along with Nigel's son James.

Pearson's response to the situation is said to have sparked a disagreement with the club, with Leicester stating that the "working relationship between Nigel and the board is no longer viable."

Leicester City's great escape

The news on Tuesday came as a huge shock to most of the footballing community, especially the Foxes faithful after arguably the greatest survival escape in the history of the Premier League, almost certainly ruling out the sacking of Pearson to be based on results, having won seven of their last nine games to keep them in the top flight.

As a member of the LMA (League Managers Association), Pearson will be advised on what action to take, if he decides to choose to take any action at all.
