Arsenal have opened talks with Anderlecht over a £1 million move for young Belgian striker David Henen.

Henen, 18, spent last season on loan at AS Monaco, and reports suggest that both Manchester clubs are tracking the striker, as well as German team Borussia Dortmund.

Should the deal go through, Arsenal are likely to loan back the striker to Anderlecht to gain experience.

The Belgian is able to play anywhere across the front-line although predominantly a centre-forward, Henen can also operate effectively on either wing.

Arsenal have also been linked with the likes of Mathieu Debuchy, Sami Khedira and Alexis Sanchez.
