The Arsenal U-21 squad started their pre season in great form with a 5-0 victory over Bournemouth Under-21s in a friendly on Wednesday at Arsenal’s training ground. Dan Crowley, the 17-year-old tipped to have a very bright future at the club, scored twice for the Gunners.

Crowley joined Arsenal last summer after Arsene Wenger snapped him up from Aston Villa. Crowley is tipped to become a future England prospect but lined up for Ireland at U-15, U-16 and U-17 level.

Alex Iwobi, Stefan O'Connor and Ainsley Maitland-Niles scored the other goals in the convincing victory.
