Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin looks to become the next name on the way out of the South Coast club, with up to three teams lining up an offer for him. With Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert and Luke Shaw having already left the Saints, clubs are on alert to raid the club of more talent.

Arsenal were the team originally in for Schneiderlin, and their interest has increased with the club seemingly ending their pursuit of Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira after wages became an issue. Their North London rivals Tottenham have also become interested, and with some of their defensive midfielders being heavily linked with a move away, Spurs appear to be a better fit.

A move to Tottenham would mean that Schneiderlin links up with his former manager at Southampton, Mauricio Pochettino, a possibility that seems to have swayed the player's decision to choose Tottenham over the Gunners if both clubs made an offer. Despite Wenger publicly confirming his interest in the player several months ago, it seems that Schneiderlin's mind is all but made up.

The midfielder has enjoyed a fabulous six years with the Saints, following the club up the Football League before they finally made their return to the Premier League. In this six years, the player has made over 230 appearances, scoring 10 goals. He was also recognised on an international level, as he made his debut for France in their 8-0 win against Jamaica in May, before playing the full 90 minutes in their 0-0 draw against Ecuador in the World Cup
