Thomas Eisfeld has signed a permanent contract with London neighbours Fulham, a move that not too many Arsenal fans may have anticipated. Eisfeld joined Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund in 2012 and talk around Arsenal fans was that he could potentially force his way into the squad.
However Eisfeld only made two first team starts, both in the League Cup - against Reading and against West Brom. The Reading match was the fantastic 7-5 spectacle.
Maybe the arrival of Andries Jonker has forced Arsene Wenger into making a decision he was deliberating on.
