Ryo Miyaichi has joined Eredivisie side FC Twente on a season-long loan deal.

The Japanese winger signed for the Gunners in 2011 but has yet to make an impact, making only one Premier League appearance after been loaned out to numerous clubs.

The 21-year-old spent 2011 on loan at Feyenoord, where he scored three goals in 12 appearances. Miyaichi then spent 2012 on loan at Bolton Wanderers where again, he made 12 appearances.

The winger also played under Roberto Martinez at Wigan Athletic, despite impressive performances, Miyaichi only made four appearances before returning to Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger still has high hopes for Miyaichi, who has also just signed a contract extension at the Gunners.
