Juventus and Italian central midfielder Claudio Marchisio could be on his way to England as Premier League trio Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly interest in the 28-year-old. Marchisio's current contract at the Old Lady runs till 2016 but a bid of as little as £20 million could tempt the creative midfielder away from Juventus. Arsenal, who have had a disappointing start to the 2014/15 season, are currently weak in the defensive midfield position and although Marchisio plays in a more central role in the midfield, it would not be a surprise to see Marchisio converted to a defensive midfielder.

Marchisio has been at the Italian club since he was seven-years-old and the midfielder made his breakthrough into the first team in the 2008/09 campaign with Juve. Marchisio has also been an influential member of the Italian national team, scoring from 25-yards out against England in the 2014 World Cup in a 2-1 win, however Gli Azzurri failed to reach the last 16.
