Sanogo stole the show in this under-21 friendly and showed Arsenal fans what he can offer them in future games. Despite being at the Gunners for over a year, Sanogo is still without a goal for the North London side however in tonight's victory he showed he is more than capable of being the poacher Arsenal can rely on. His two goals sparked a France comeback as the side - who failed to qualify for next year's European under-21 tournament - came from 2-0 down to beat England 3-2.

Sanogo's first goal was a composed tap-in after French right-back Conte blasted a shot from the right wing, which Sanogo finished off from the centre of the six-yard box. Replays showed that Sanogo was closer to the goal then Bond (England goalkeeper) and ahead of the ball therefore he was offside, however, the goal was still given.

Sanogo then bagged his and France's second of the night after Bond parried Veretout's great shot from the edge of the 18-yard box into the path of Stade Rennais winger Ntep, who calmly laid the ball off to Arsenal's third choice striker who tapped it in from four-yards.

Jenkinson had an average game and failed to do anything noticable during the game. The right-back came off the bench just before half-time to replace the injured Gibson and with the score being 2-2, it was unlikely this substitution were to lead to a change in the scoreline. Nevertheless, the experience against a strong French side along with consistent first-team football for West Ham will only benefit the 22-year old and his rise to the Arsenal and England first-team.

England's two goals came from Spurs striker Harry Kane and were both assisted by Hull midfielder Tom Ince. Kane opened the scoring by chipping Areola and his second was a tap-in after Ince striked from inside the penalty area.

Despite Sanogo pushing on for his third, the winner and final goal for France came from 18-year-old Kingsley Coman who found the bottom corner with a brilliant finish to seal France's comeback.
