Arsenal begin their busy Christmas period with a London derby against QPR. Arsenal go into the game after a 2-2 draw away at Anfield, where despite not being the best team they were three injury time minutes away from winning. Debuchy and Giroud were the scorers as Arsenal visited the stadium where they lost 5-1 last season. Arsenal's recent Premier League form has been a mixed bag with a win, a draw and a loss from their last three games. They have only lost once in their last six games in all competitions though.

QPR went 2-0 down at home to West Brom on Saturday, and it looked like they could crash to another Premier League loss, but a Charlie Austin hat-trick reversed the game seeing the Hoops win 3-2. QPR have won three out of their last five Premier League games, but are still yet to win away from home. Getting a first away win at the Emirates could be a hard ask though.

Team news

Arsenal's injury crisis concerns have been lifted a bit by the knowledge that midfield Tomas Rosicky and goalkeeper David Ospina will return for the game against QPR. Koscielny and Ramsey are also close to full fitness, but they won't be able to play on Boxing Day.

QPR will have to assess many players prior to their Boxing Day fixture, but left back Yun Suk-Young is definitely out with an ankle injury.
