A rematch of last year's FA Cup final saw a brace from Alexis Sanchez and a goal from Aaron Ramsey to give Arsenal a comfortable 3-1 victory at the KC Stadium, to see them level on points with last year's Premier League champions Manchester City.

The Gunners are now unbeaten in their last 11 matches as they look to contend for a second place finish.

The Gunners were sensational in the first-half and Alexis Sanchez opened the scoring with a deflected free-kick. Aaron Ramsey netted the second with another deflected strike before setting up Sanchez to beat keeper Steve Harper.

Stephen Quinn's header gave Hull hope, but the defeat sees the Tigers slip to fourth-bottom on goal difference.

Arsene Wenger will take pride into this match with victory as they look to contend for that second place finish with four matches left in the league and a FA Cup final against Aston Villa as they look to regain the trophy.

"We created some good moments today. Overall I could see a good mix between focus, fluency and confidence. With the technical qualities we have we created some good moments. It is all about finishing second for us, step by step, I believe now we are certain to make the top four and now it is about finishing second but even more so to keep the quality high and concentrate on the next game." Said Wenger.

No player has assisted as many Premier League goals as Santi Cazorla (28) since he made his PL debut in August 2012. Here's what he had to say about the rest of the season with the Gunners:

“We want to come second but the most important thing is to finish in the Champions League [places] and win the FA Cup final. Then we have to prepare well for next season.” stated the Spain international.
