Arsenal overcame Hull City at the KC Stadium, as both Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey got on the scoresheet. The three points brings the Gunners level with second placed Manchester City, but the FA Cup holders do have a game in hand. Hull City now move closer to the relegation zone but would have been proud with their second half performance. Three down, the Tigers drew one back through a Stephen Quinn header.

Ramsey recorded a goal and an assist on Monday night, providing for Alexis' second of the game. The Chilean opened the scoring with a deflected free-kick, with Ramsey doubling the lead after a deflected shot left Harper helpless. The Welshman was on hand again to find Alexis with a wonderful through ball, and the former Barcelona forward did well to round the 'keeper before unleashing a tidy finish.

David Ospina - 7:

Not much to do for the Colombian shot stopper, but he did manage to concede a goal. Solid overall.

Hector Bellerin - 7:

A very average night from the young right-back earns him a seven, could have been higher had he offered more going forward. The defensive outing was a good one.

Per Mertesacker - 8:

Quality night for the World Cup winner, he seems to be back to his best.

Laurent Koscielny - 8:

It was not the busiest of nights in defense, but both centre-backs handled most things thrown their way.

Nacho Monreal - 7:

A solid night for Nacho Monreal, never looked a liability in defense and was constantly getting forward, supplying the Arsenal attack with service from the left side.

Francis Coquelin - 7.5:

The Frenchman was able to be solid defensively for most of the game. Distribution could have been better, but its another good match for Coquelin.

Santi Cazorla - 9.5:

A true masterclass from the Spaniard. Redefining the regista role, Cazorla was able to get an assist and play Alexis in for goal with a beauty of a pass. Would have a ten had he not given the ball up for the Hull goal.

Aaron Ramsey - 8:

A good performance, cutting in from the right side of midfield has been beneficial at times for this Arsenal side. Clearly not his best position, but he did very well to get a goal and an assist.

Mesut Ozil - 9:

A true display of class tonight from Mesut Ozil, the German was oozing class all night. The way he was able to dictate the Arsenal attack was magical. Different class.

Alexis Sanchez - 9:

A very good night, which included a brace earns Alexis Sanchez a 9/10 score. Dribbling around the Hull defenders all night and wreaking havoc all game. A constant threat and the finishing to prove that.

Olivier Giroud - 6:

A very, very quiet night for the in-form striker. Although his positioning was instrumental to two goals, it wasn’t close to his best. Hardly even had a chance while they seemed to come in bunches for the Gunners.
