With the transfer window just days away from opening, the transfer rumours are already red hot and the latest rumour surrounds Arsenal’s Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey who is a purported target for Barcelona. The Catalan giants see Ramsey as the most ideal candidate to replace the departing Xavi. Barcelona are apparently preparing a £50million pound bid for the Arsenal midfielder.
It is said that Barca were actually looking at the possibility of signing Jack Wilshere but the scouts thought that the Welshman would be a better fit as he is in the same mould as a Sergio Busquets or Andres Iniesta. Officials at the La Liga champions have tried to get a pardon so that they can get this deal done during the upcoming transfer window.
Barca scouts were in the stands during the Gunners' recent 1-1 draw with Manchester United but with that being said Barcelona are still under a transfer embargo which means this transfer may not happen until the winter transfer window so the Catalan club have mooted the idea of a pre-contract agreement or any sort of deal being done until the ban is lifted.
