Arsenal host Leicester City at the Emirates in a mouth-watering clash which could have a huge bearing on the Premier League title race.

The Foxes have been a revelation in the 2015/16 campaign and currently find themselves at the summit of the table, with the Gunners lingering five points behind the surprise pace setters.

Arsene Wenger's side defeated AFC Bournemouth in their last domestic fixture, which ended a winless run stretching back four games. Claudio Ranieri's men will be in a buoyant mood after seeing off Manchester City 3-1 at the Ethiad last time out, in a game which solidified their intent on claiming an unexpected league crown.

Can Arsenal burst the Foxes' bubble?

Arsenal will be keen to knock Leicester down a peg or two, with the Foxes entering the game in a fine run of form. The combination of Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy has been central to their recent success, with N’Golo Kante and Danny Drinkwater forging a combative midfield partnership. In recent games, Ranieri’s men have shown their defensive strength and the onus will be on the Gunners to try and break down the league’s form side.

Mesut Ozil will most likely be a key figure if Arsenal are to get three points on Sunday, with the German enjoying his finest season to date in the Premier League. Alexis Sanchez will be hoping to rediscover his goal scoring form, with the general consensus being that if the Chilean can get back to his best, the Gunners' chances of success would improve significantly.

Recent meetings favour Arsenal

The reverse fixture this season saw Wenger’s side brush aside Leicester 5-2 in what is to date, their only league loss at the King Power Stadium this season. Sanchez notched his first hat-trick for the club with Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud scoring either side of the South American’s treble. Both of Leicester’s goals in the game were scored by Vardy, as he embarked on his now famous scoring run.

This fixture last season saw the Gunners secure a 2-1 win in what was a fine performance by the Foxes, who were unlucky not to get something from the game.

Team news

Both teams come into the game with no fresh injury concerns. Arsenal are still without Santi Cazorla, Jack Wilshere and Tomas Rosicky who are all long-term absentees, while Danny Welbeck is still a bit short of making the squad.

Francis Coquelin is set to make his first Premier League start since his injury suffered at West Brom in late November with Mathieu Flamini likely to drop out. Gabriel Paulista is expected to maintain his place in the starting line-up, as is Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain after his impressive display against Bournemouth.

Leicester will likely stick with the same starting eleven that has brought them so much success this season. Shinji Okazaki will support Vardy up front with Marc Albrighton providing service to the strikers from the left-hand side.

Robert Huth will be tasked with leading the defence after his virtuoso display against City which saw the defender register two goals.

Predicted line-ups

Arsenal: Cech, Bellerin, Koscielny, Gabriel, Monreal, Coquelin, Ramsey, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ozil, Alexis, Giroud.

Leicester City: Schmeichel, Simpson, Morgan, Huth, Fuchs, Mahrez, Kante, Drinkwater, Albrighton, Okazaki, Vardy.
