Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has hailed his side for their belief and strength in their 2-0 win against Paris Saint-Germain at Stamford Bridge. The home side overturned a 3-1 deficit against PSG and qualified to the Champions League semi finals thanks to a goals from Andre Schurrle and an 87th minute winner from Demba Ba.

We knew it wouldn't be easy but we told each other before the game that winning 2-0 at home is not impossible.

We pursued this goal from the beginning to the end. We showed great moral strength.
Schurrle and Oscar were denied by the woodwork 2 minutes after half-time and Cech claimed it didn't break down Chelsea's hopes.
Hitting the crossbar twice didn't break us. We kept pressing them and found the strength to score a second goal.

(Demba Ba) probably scored the goal of his life, but I hope he has a more important one left for the games to come. He withdrew to midfield after the goal and helped the defence until the last minute.
Cech played a vital role in Chelsea's game against PSG who several world class saves to keep the club fighting for a win. It's not the first time he helped the team overcome a 3-1 deficit as it was done against Napoli a couple of years ago. The goalkeeper has kept nine consecutive clean sheets at Stamford Bridge and is a clean sheet away from tying all-time record at home. On top of it, Chelsea have conceded 1 goal in 2014 and remain unbeaten.

The Czech international joined the club from Rennes in 2004 appearing 468 times for Chelsea as of April 8, 2014. He has been a vital part of the club's dominance winning every title possible at club level including the Champions League in 2012
