The 32-year-old has fell behind youngster Thibaut Courtois at Stamford Bridge and is considering his Chelsea future in the January transfer window.

Iker Casillas made a return to the starting line-up after been frozen out for numerous seasons but has failed to impress with a string of poor results and was replaced by another potential target David De Gea in the Euro 2016 qualifer victory over Luxembourg.

Paris Saint-Germain have also taken a interest in the goalkeeper but he is more likely to savour the challenge of La Liga rather than Ligue 1.

Carlo Ancelotti will know the keeper well from his tenure at Stamford Bridge, the Cezech republic international will be keen to fight for his place but it is thought that he is interested of the prospect of playing in Spain.
