Chelsea midfielder Oscar understands that an in-form Arsenal can be a serious threat when Jose Mourinho takes his side to the Emirates on Sunday afternoon.

If the blues get the three points away to Arsenal at the weekend, they can seal the Premiership title with a win in their game in hand on Wednesday night when they travel to the 'King Power Stadium' to face an in-form Leicester City team.

Oscar has told his team mates to respect Arsenal who have moved up to second with eight straight league victories. "They [Arsenal] have improved a lot, they have won almost every match they played recently.

So we know they are a real threat. The good think is we’ve been doing well and we know that we are up to any challenge."

However, Arsenal have not beaten Chelsea at home since 2010 and the hosts will be looking to put this right in this weekend's encounter.

"We know we are very close to the title but there are some challenges ahead.

If we manage to lift this trophy and keep this level of performances we certainly will do some other good seasons like this one."

Chelsea currently sit at the top of the league and have a healthy 10-point cushion, but a win for Arsenal and things will get interesting as Mourinho's men have Liverpool still to play.
