That's all from me tonight, thank you for tuning in with my live commentary here on VAVEL. I've been Harry Harris, have a good one and hope to have you tuning in next time.

Not the start Chelsea wanted to their pre-season campaign but the result gives Mourinho plenty to work on.

91' Williams lets fly from 25 yards out and forces Begovic to make a great save.

90' Two minutes added on.

88' The goals seemed to have dried up for now. New York lead 4-2 as we are into the last two minutes.

48' Chance! Diego Costa muscles his way onto a dropping ball but his volley is over the bar!

47' An early chance for Eden Hazard but he's thwarted at the last second. Corner to Chelsea.

46' Second half is underway!

Subs for Chelsea: Terry, Aina, Ramires, Begovic, Loftus-Cheek, Matic, Hazard and Diego Costa all enter the fray in place of Cahill, Ivanovic, Mikel, Courtois, Fabregas, Moses, Traore and Remy.

Multiple chances in the first 45, the majority falling to the away side. Plenty of subs expected at the break.

Half Time: Chelsea 1-0 New York Red Bulls. Loic Remy's 26th minute goal separates the sides in a sloppy but entertaining first half.

43' A mix up at the back leads to a glorious opportunity for Obekop but Courtois manages to save well.

41' Chance! It should be 2-0 to the Blues and Remy should have his second. Traore's cross finds Remy all by himself in front of goal but the striker puts it over.

38' The Blues look very comfortable in possession as they lead 1-0 with seven minutes to go in the first half.

31' Chance! It's so close to being a second for Chelsea but Moses' delicate chip is off the post!

29' Traore and Moses have switched flanks with both looking bright on the ball so far.

27' It's 1-0 to the Blues after a quick counter through Oscar who finds Remy all alone in the middle of the box. The Frenchman smashes home for Chelsea's first pre-season goal.

26' GOAL! Chelsea strike first thanks to Loic Remy!

22' Chelsea have another chance again though Bertrand Traore's shot is straight at Reynish.

18' Oscar's free kick is just over the bar but fails to test the goalkeeper.

17' Oscar is brought down on the edge of the area and it's a free kick in a great position for Chelsea.

15' A fairly quiet opening quarter of an hour for both sides.

11' It's New York's turn to try from distance and Davis' effort is not far wide of the post.

10' Chance for Chelsea again but Traore, who was found by Fabregas, fires well over from distance.

7' Chance! Chelsea counter attack quickly and Moses forces a good save from Reynish.

6' Another corner for the home side earned by Obekop but Courtois collects comfortably.

5' The ensuing corner is tame and put wide for a goal kick.
