Chelsea welcome Manchester United at Stamford Bridge this Sunday in a vital match for both sides.

The Manchester outfit wants to build on their momentum and an impressive win against Stoke City last time out. On the other hand, Chelsea are looking to move up the league and get into top ten as soon as possible.

Both teams faced in each other in title deciding matches previously, but Sunday's match isn't like that all. The two teams haven't been on best form this season, especially Chelsea, who are having a shocking season.

A season of struggle for both sides

The Blues come into this game sitting 13th, after drawing their last game with a stubborn Watford team.

The hosts still haven't lost under new manager, Guus Hiddink, but have only won two games out of seven in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, United are fifth in the league are are 13 points away from top of the table Leicester City. The Red Devils won their last match 3-0 against Stoke.

Always an interesting match-up

Last time the two teams faced each other, it was in Old Trafford earlier this season; the game ended as a 0-0 draw but was full of action.

Last season, the clubs played out another nil-all draw in Manchester but Chelsea won at Stamford Bridge when Eden Hazard scored after a brilliant run.

Their most important match up was in the Champions League final, when the Blues lost on penalties after captain, John Terry, slipped and missed a penalty.

Chelsea fighting for form

The champions have had a shocking season, winning only seven of 24 games.

Last campaign, Chelsea won 17 out of their first 24 games and were comfortably top of the table.

The biggest issue seems to be their defence; they have conceded 34 this year, which is a shock given the pride that the Blues place in their defence.

The hosts could upgrade their back-line as John Terry is seemingly on his way out, Gary Cahill is struggling along with Branislav Ivanovic.

Injuries and suspensions

Radamel Falcao, Loic Remy and Alexandre Pato all are unavailable for Hiddink to select.

Falcao is still not close to returning to action, Remy will be back next week but Pato is on a special 'pre-season' training programme and will not be involved for a few games.

Luke Shaw, Antonio Valencia, Bastain Schweinsteiger, Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones and Ashley Young are all ruled out and won't be able to feature on Sunday.

Marouane Fellaini will have to take a late fitness test but should pass fit. Despite the injury woes, United don't have any suspended players.

Possible line-ups

Chelsea: (4-2-3-1) Courtois; Ivanovic, Zouma, Terry, Azpilicueta; Mikel, Matic; Pedro, Willian, Hazard; Costa.

Manchester United: (4-2-3-1) De Gea; Darmian, Smalling, Blind, Borthwick-Jackson; Fellaini, Carrick; Lingard, Mata, Martial; Rooney.
