Shortly after holding crisis talks with club owner Steve Parish, the club have announced that manager Tony Pulis has left the club. It is believed Pulis walked out on the club after the lack of summer signings he was able to make. 

Pulis, who took over Palace in November, signed just his third player in Martin Kelly today before walking out. Other signings include the costless signing of a Brede Hangeland and the near million pound move for Fraizer Campbell.

The now 56 year old tactician, renowned for his teams tight defensive performances, wanted more involvement in footballing matters of the club an earlier report from BBC Sport read

With his departure coming at such short notice, the club are now in limbo with their Premier League campaign set to start this Saturday against Arsenal at Selhurst Park.

Palace announced shortly after that Pulis' former number two, Keith Millen would take temporary charge for the fixture against Arsenal.
