Top level European players such as former Manchester City striker Alvaro Negredo, German international defender Shkodran Mustafi and Spanish international forward Paco Alcácer will visit South London with Los Che, marking their 21st fixture in England and their first since 2012.

The Spanish side have won La Liga six times, most recently in 2004. They have also won the UEFA Cup and the UEFA Cup Winners' cup during their illustrious history.

As well as getting to see one of Europe’s biggest names face up against the Eagles, fans can also enjoy a host of activities in a fanzone outside of the ground, created to entertain all the family.

The preparation before the real stuff begins

Before the visit of Valencia, Palace travel across the Atlantic to the United States of America to play Philadelphia Union and FC Cincinnati in July, before travelling north to Canada to face the Vancouver Whitecaps.

After this trip aboard, manager Alan Pardew will watch his team face up to sides including newly prompted to League One AFC Wimbledon and fellow London side Fulham from the Championship

Once all these games are done, the Eagles start the Premier League season with a home fixture against West Bromwich Albion
