Everton manager Roberto Martinez has confirmed that the club's transfer business is not over yet, and they are still in the market for more signings before the transfer window does close. Martinez has already done some good business to sign Barry and Lukaku on permanent deals, as well as capturing Bosnian midfielder Muhamed Besic and young defender Brendan Galloway this summer so far - but he has said that it depends on the fitness of players with long-term injuries, for example left-back Bryan Oviedo who broke his leg in January.

Martinez said: "Towards the end of last season I said we needed six more players, but it wasn't six new players, it was six players. We have added Barry, Lukaku and Besic and we also have Tony Hibbert who re-signed. We still need one or two, depending on how quickly Arouna Kone and Bryan Oviedo recover from their injuries."

Everton have secured Europa League football this upcoming campaign, which could be either bad or good for the team depending on match fitness, as well as injuries and suspensions. It is important to have good squad depth in a team, and Martinez knows it.
