Evertons season has been far from ideal up to now, a combination of players not performing to their full potential demonstrated last season, and the failing of signings to perform to their expected level have left the Toffies currently sat 12th in the Premier League table, 16pts from 5th position where they concluded the 13/14 season. They are in need of a lift and the Spurs wideman could deliver it.

Lennon has fallen out of favor under Mauricio Pochettino, being used primarily as an impact sub late in games. The Toffies are likely to reap the benefits of his experience almost immediatly as he will be looking to prove a point to his parent club.

One of the numerous reasons why Aaron Lennon is likely to be such a rewarding piece of business for the blue half of Merseyside is his wealth of playing time whilst he has been at Tottenham Hotspur, to date he has won 267 premier league apps showing he is a veteran of the top flight of the English game and not only that, but he has experience amongst Europes elite via the Champions League and countless Europa League conquests he has enjoyed during his time at Spurs.

Not only is he an player with a wealth of both domestic and European experience, he is still young at only 27 years old. This means Everton, should they choose to sign him permanently in the summer, will have a seasoned player with years of playing time left in him.

All in all the signing of Aaron Lennon by Everton FC could prove to be an adventageous one. If he is able to create chemistry quickly with his new teamates, whilst still being able to utilize his lightning pace and excellent delivery into the box, he could single handedly drag Everton to a top 7 finish in a season where previous reputation and form has deserted the blues, leaving them dismally short of old expectations.
