Abel Hernandez, Mohammed Diame, Gaston Ramirez and Hatem Ben Arfa were all signed by Hull City on the last day of the transfer window.

Abel Hernandez who is been signed from Palermo for a club record fee believed to be £9.5 million he has signed a 3 year deal and will join the club after the international break.

Mohammed Diame, who is the captain of Senegal national team, has joined the club on a 3 year deal. A fee of £3.5m been paid to West Ham United.

Gaston Ramirez has joined the club from Southampton on a season long loan deal. The 23-year-old Uruguayan international will be eager to prove his worth with the Tigers.

Hatem Ben Arfa also arrived at the club from Newcastle United on a season long loan deal. The promising French international is proven at this level and will be a threat to any defence in the league.

Steve Bruce is very pleased with the business he has done in the transfer market and is looking forward to seeing all his players back in training, he told BBC's David Burns, ''For a couple of months we've been lacking a little bit of creativity and that's what we needed to address."

Bruce also commented on the French winger, ''Ben Arfa I’ve been monitoring for a couple of weeks now, weeks thinking 'That’s interesting, nobody’s come in for him, let’s hope it stays that way’. And it played into our hands.''

The Hull boss then commented on his signings as a whole: “They’ve all gone away now to join with their national teams. We’ve got the captain of Senegal, we’ve got the centre-forward of Uruguay. Ramirez has pulled himself out of the Uruguay squad and we all know Ben Arfa’s talent.”
