Robert Snodgrass’ late free kick secured Hull City a draw with Burnley. Here are how the Tigers' players performed against the Clarets.

Goalkeeper and Defence:

Eldin Jakupovic: Will feel disappointed with the goal he conceded, beaten at his near post from at least 30 yards out. Will be lucky if he retains his place for next week with David Marshall breathing down his neck. (6 out of 10)

Ahmed Elmohamady: Yet another consistent performance. Always a threat going forward and becoming better defensively. A very important part of the back four who have been key to this surprising start to the season. (7)

Jake Livermore: Trusted again at centre back, despite Harry Maguire being fit again. As has been the case all season, Livermore didn’t allow anything past him all afternoon and proved strong at the back yet again. (7)

Curtis Davies: As with Livermore, Davies was solid in the middle again. Was excellent defending against Burnley's set pieces and was a threat again when attacking set pieces. His leadership alongside Livermore has been brilliant and his performances could create some selection headaches for England manager Sam Allardyce. (8)

Andrew Robertson: As with Elmohamady, was solid going forward and is constantly improving when defending. He used his pace to get back and forward throughout the game. This defence will be vital to the survival bid, and has been throughout. (7)

Midfield and Attack:

David Meyler: Had a consistent performance going forward and providing cover when defending. Struck the post with a good effort in the first half and played with intent, with many thinking his position could be at risk. (7)

Sam Clucas: The youngster had another good performance and is showing why he is in the first team regularly. Drove forward and tracked back well showing good energy. He didn’t do anything spectacular but did the majority of things right. (6)

Tom Huddlestone: Won the vital free kick right outside the box for the equaliser. Showed his veteran instincts and is another who could push for a national team call up. Had a couple of moments of brilliance but nothing extraordinary. (7)

Adama Diomande: Not a game to remember. Missed an easy chance at nil-nil and wasn’t effective at all. Could be subject to a change in formation and losing his place if Mike Phelan sees fit. (5)

Robert Snodgrass: Absolutely superb performance. He didn’t put a foot wrong and looks to be back to his best and beyond after 16 months out injured. His set pieces caused problems all afternoon and of course, that free kick that brought the Tigers back level at Turf Moor. (9)

Abel Hernandez: Seemed tired after only returning to the Tigers late last week from International duty. Didn’t do anything amazing nor did he do anything wrong either. (6)

Substitutes:

Shaun Maloney: Didn’t play long enough to get a rating but put in a few testing crosses towards the end of the game.

Ryan Mason: Had to come off of the bench for his debut and didn’t disappoint. Made sure the midfield was secure when Burnley were counter attacking. (6)

Will Keane: Also made his debut and was brought on to increase the energy in attack. Was steady and will grow into his role at the club. (6)
