Leicester City were pushed hard to get a result from the away fixture against AFC Bournemouth. The first half belonged to Bournemouth, however the second half could have even seen Leicester take all three points.

Leicester were not quite at their best throughout the entire match, so who was it that stood out most and allowed the Foxes to take a point away from The Vitality Stadium?

Goalkeeper and defender ratings

Kaspar Schmeichel - 6/10: Leicester's Danish international goalkeeper didn't have a whole lot to do throughout the entire game, apart from picking the ball out of the back of his net. In fact it's hard to remember Schmeichel having to do anything at all.

Ritchie De Laet - 5/10: Leicester's right-back has arguably been the weak link in the Leicester squad so far this season. Max Gradel got the better of the Belgian on more than one occasion; with better quality Bournemouth could have had more than one goal as a result of his poor defending.

Robert Huth - 5/10: The German appeared vulnerable throughout the entire match. Callum Wilson got the better of Huth consistently causing immense frustration. Huth could arguably have been sent off straight after half time; first he fouled Wilson and kicked then ball in the striker's face after the whistle had gone, then raised his hand into the face of Tyrone Mings. Overall, a poor display from the big German.

Wesley Morgan - 6/10: Morgan was steady throughout the match and contained Wilson fairly well. Perhaps Morgan could be partly blamed for the goal along with Huth as neither seemed to pick up the Bournemouth forward, who finished spectacularly.

Jeffrey Schlupp - 7/10:  Schlupp is increasingly becoming one of Leicester's brightest sparks. Like most games, his pace is just too much for most defenders to deal with and he often gets on the end of balls that he has no right to get to. Schlupp was involved in a lot of Leicester's attacks in the second half and could have scored one himself. Schlupp also did extremely well defensively. His booking was perhaps his only blip in the game.

Midfielder ratings

Riyad Mahrez - 5/10: Mahrez couldn't get into the game against Bournemouth and was rightly substituted at half time. Unlike in the weeks previous, Mahrez could not find the space to gallop into and take on defenders. His defensive side to his game still needs improving vastly; some may argue that he was also partly at fault for the Bournemouth goal.

Danny Drinkwater - 6/10: Drinkwater had a very quiet first half and spent most of it defending. However, in the second half Drinkwater contributed to Leicester's attacks. He delivered a superb cross into the 18-yard box which almost found Morgan and forced Artur Boruc into a fine reflex save.

Andy King - 6/10: Like Drinkwater, King had a quiet game but did produce some fantastic passages of play in the second half with the former and N'Golo Kante. He put in a great shift and his work off of the ball was as good as always.

N'Golo Kante - 7/10: Kante's first Premier League start for Leicester went well. He and Jeffrey Schlupp worked well together and could easily have created a goal if the final cross or shot was of a higher standard. Kante appears to be very dependent on his right foot and often miscontrols the ball because of this. Perhaps something for him to work on, in order to be even more effective in the Premier league.

Marc Albrighton - 6/10: Albrighton, like Mahrez, could not find the space that he has been able to maneuver in during the previous three games. His only major contribution was early in the first half where he beat his man, turned and then found Riyad Mahrez in the box, who would have scored but was controversially deemed to be offside.

Forward ratings

Jamie Vardy 8/10: The Englishman had a fantastic game; his work-rate was phenomenal. His solo run into the box which ended in the penalty, highlighted his skill on the ball and saved Leicester a point. It's hard to believe that only five years ago, the 28 year-old was playing non-league football.

Substitute ratings

Shinji Okazaki - 6/10: The Japanese international was dropped to the bench for today's game but was brought on at half time in order to bolster Leicester's attacking play. Okazaki didn't really impress much, however he did show one moment of class where he opened his body up to shoot in the area only for it to be blocked.

Yohane Benalouane - 5/10: The Tunisian came on late in the second half for De Laet, though he didn't contribute greatly. He did concede a foul late on just outside the area which could easily have ended in a goal, and won the game for Bournemouth.

Joe Dodoo - 5/10: Dodoo has had a fantastic week; first a hat-trick in against Bury in the cup and now his first Premier League appearance. He couldn't match his cup exploits in the league, however. He had a great chance to score after coming on when the ball was played across the box, but he missed it completely.
