Premier League champions Leicester City are closing in on a deal to sign Poland wonderkid Bartosz Kapustka, for a transfer fee in the region of £6.25million pounds.

Kapustka a player with high potential

The talented 19-year-old, earmarked by scouts as one of the best youngsters to look out for during the European Championships in France, didn't disappoint - and was one of Poland's best players as they progressed to the quarter-finals, before losing on penalties to eventual winners Portugal.

Kapustka, who plays for Polish side Cracovia, is expected to officially join Claudio Ranieri's side in the coming days - according to various reports, he's already arrived in England and the fee has been agreed between the two clubs. It'll be a signal of intent from the Foxes, especially considering the likes of their Premier League counterparts Everton and Southampton were both interested in the teenager's signature.

Foxes' mix between youth and seasoned experience

With 19-year-old left-back Ben Chilwell, winger Demarai Gray, and versatile defender Daniel Amartey all amongst the first-team squad as well as a number of talented youngsters in the club's ranks, this potential transfer just highlights the fact that Leicester not only have strength in depth with players, but are always looking to improve. A refreshing mix between experience and youthful exuberance allows them an added edge over sides through unpredictability.

Having sold N'Golo Kante to Antonio Conte's Chelsea side for around £30million, Leicester will be aiming to keep hold of their other star men - reports have suggested winger Riyad Mahrez is on the verge of a big-money switch to Arsenal. With the 2016/17 campaign only a few weeks away, his departure from the King Power Stadium would most definitely be another significant one, especially with seemingly little time to find adequate replacements.
