Seville have today rejected Liverpool's initial bid for their left back Alberto Moreno. Yesterday, Vavel reported that Liverpool had offered £16 million for the Spanish full-back as well as giving Spanish youngster, Suso, as part of the deal. However, today, Seville have rejected this bid, although the Europa League champions have stated they are open to doing business.

Seville have asked Liverpool for a fee of £18 million, as well offering ex-Seville youngster, Luis Alberto on loan for a season. Liverpool look set to meet the asking price Seville have set, with negotiations set to continue throughout the weekend.

Liverpool are desperate to land a new left back, with Jose Enrique due to be sold this Summer, and Aly Cissokho's deal being cut short.
