Liverpool face Roma this Wednesday, as Brendan Rodgers` side look to make it two wins from three on their pre-season travels, following a hard earned victory over Preston North End, and a demoralizing defeat at the hands of European outfit, Brondby.

Liverpool flew out to The States on Sunday afternoon, with the less experienced youngsters being left behind following their chances against Brondby and Preston, with Jordon Ibe, Kris Peterson and Adam Phillips seemingly the only youngsters travelling. Brendan Rodgers is boosted by the returning cast of Sterling, Sturridge, Henderson, Gerrard, Johnson and Lallana, as well as a returning Reina being made available. The only two players unavailable for the trip are Sakho and Mignolet.

Liverpool fans may get a first sight of Markoivc in a red shirt, after the Serbian born made a move to Merseyside last week from Benfica, although he couldn`t feature against Preston a few days ago.

The game will be played in the historic Fenway Park, host to the Boston Red Sox, a baseball club also owner by John W Henry, Liverpool`s current owners.

Liverpool are likely to start with Brad Jones in goal, with Reina only beginning training a few short days ago. Martin Kelly is most probable to start right full, with Andre Wisdom being loaned out to West Brom this week, while Johnson is still only beginning his pre-season. Martin Skrtel will probably feature along side Daniel Agger, while Seb Coates could also play some part, with Jose Enrique the most likely starter at the left-hand-side of defense. Lucas and Allen will anchor the midfield, while Phillipe Coutinho will most likely get a start, along with Jordon Ibe, Rickie Lambert, and Fabio Borini.
