Kolo Toure is set to leave the English Premier League and Liverpool as he`s close to agreeing terms with Turkish side Trabzonspor. The central defender has won several Premier League titles with Arsenal along with Manchester City, and after one season with the Merseyside club, his experience helped Brendan Rodgers` team gather a serious run of form as the reds gained enough momentum to challenge Manchester City for the title.

With the signing of Dejan Lovren, added with the run of impressive performances from Uruguayan Seb Coates, the Ivorian defender was made rethink his future and seemingly he`s opted to leave Anfield.

Liverpool will look to add 1 or 2 more defenders this summer, following the acquisition of Lovren and Manquillo. Alberto Moreno may be the next defender to join the Anfield club, and with Agger likely to leave, it will probably mean Rodgers will continue this summer`s spending spree.

Liverpool will receive just over 3 million euros for the defender.
