Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers believes Chelsea will have a greater motivation to reach Wembley following their shock FA Cup defeat by Bradford City.

"The result at the weekend doesn't help - they will have great motivation," said Rodgers. "When you come off a game like that, you want to put it right. "There is also that, in the back of your mind, even if you're up in the game - like they were, 2-0 - you can still lose the game," added Rodgers. "So I'm sure there'll be that wee bit of trepidation."

''We played them last week when they were coming off the back of, arguably, their best result and performance of the season against Swansea but we were outstanding in the game. We know it is going to be a tough game but we are certainly going into the game with no fear and our strength is very much in our attack. We showed that in the last game. The team is on the up, we have seen that over the last number of weeks. We've got great confidence knowing that, in particular away from home, our form and resilience is getting better and better and we can get a result."- While speaking about their match against Chelsea

Phil Coutinho also had something to say before the trip to the capital, insisting it's a huge one for he and his teammates:"I can't wait for this game. I'm always looking forward to the next game and this is a special one as it will be a decider for a place in the final," said the Brazilian playmaker.

"Everyone is focused on and prepared for this match. We have to try and do the same we did last week. We started that game 100 per cent concentrated and kept them under constant pressure without the ball, having kept possession most of the time and constantly chased the goal," added the 20-year-old. "We must repeat that to try and earn a victory. We know we must score at least one goal to win this tie and in order for this to happen, I think it's important that we try to do the same we did against them at Anfield, when we dominated the game throughout.''
