Mario Balotelli is reportedly set to make a shock move to MLS franchise Orlando City according to The Metro and ichajes.net. The Italian striker has had a disappointing spell at Merseyside, only scoring 4 goals in 20 appearances for the Reds since his £16 million move from AC Milan in the summer transfer window, and reports are claiming that the 24-year-old will be a keen on a move to the USA, with Orlando City being his preferred destination.

Balotelli is also believed to be keen on the American lifestyle and would listen to any proposal made by the newly formed MLS franchise. Orlando City already have former Brazilian international and Milan legend Kaka, who played alongside Balotelli during their time at AC Milan in the 2013/14 Serie A season, in their current roster, and with the likes of David Villa, Frank Lampard and Sebastian Giovinco also making the leap to MLS football, this move could become a reality should Balotelli remain an outcast at Liverpool.
