Liverpool's Europa League exit to Besiktas in February may have shortened their fixture schedule, but the 2-1 victory of Manchester City just days later made sure that it didn't shorten their spirits. With just four games in March for Brendan Rodgers' Liverpool, lets take a brief look at all of them.

Burnley (h) - Barclays Premier League - 04/03/15.

Liverpool host relegation strugglers Burnley in their easiest Premier League game of the month, on paper anyway. The Clarets are down in 19th and despite the best efforts of Sean Dyche and co, who have by far the lowest wage budget in the league, it's going to be a tough job to keep them up with eleven games remaining. Liverpool shouldn't have too much trouble overcoming a Burnley side that is known to struggle away, however results such as the home draws to Hull and Sunderland will give Burnley hope ahead of the game. One to look out for will be striker Danny Ings, who has been strongly linked with a move to L4 when his contract expires in the summer.

Blackburn (h) - FA Cup Quarter Final - 08/03/15.

Next up for the Reds is a huge FA Cup Quarter Final against Blackburn Rovers. It is likely that captain Steven Gerrard will return to the lineup for this one, as he looks to inspire his team to reach a Wembley semi final. There has been no secret made of the fact that the final coincides with Gerrard's birthday, and it would be a fitting way to end a glittering career. Blackburn will be no pushovers, demonstrating their ability in the last round with a 4-1 thumping of Stoke. Joshua King scored a hat-trick in that game, and the Norwegian will be gunning for more against the rivals of his ex club Manchester United. Blackburn do themselves have history at Anfield, having secured their only Premier League title at Anfield back in the 1990's. With Manchester United and Arsenal playing eachother, and no other top 10 Premier League teams remaining in the competition, Liverpool will feel optimistic about ther chances of FA Cup success.

Swansea (a) - Barclays Premier League - 16/03/15.

Liverpool's only away game of the month takes place in Wales, with Brendan Rodgers visiting his old side Swansea City. Swansea are sure to be tough opposition on their own turf, however are certainly a lesser threat after the sale of Wilfried Bony to Manchester City in January. The Reds defeated them by four goals to one at Anfield around Christmas time, with an Adam Lallana brace being the highlight of the game. It is a Monday night game, which may make it difficult for Liverpool's passionate away following to travel, however the side themselves should be well rested due to an eight day gap between the Blackburn and Swansea games. Liverpool's wing backs will have to be careful in this game, with wingers like Nathan Dyer and Wayne Routledge proving to be a huge attacking threat for the Swans.

Manchester United (h) - Barclays Premier League - 22/03/15.

The biggest game of the month is undoubtedly the final one, as Liverpool face Manchester United at Anfield in a huge game that could go a long way to deciding who finishes in the top four. The two sides are currently seperated by just two points and lie 4th and 5th in the league. United currently have the upper hand, however have tough games against Newcastle and Tottenham before they come to Merseyside. Manchester United were the last team to beat Liverpool in the Premier League, with 3-0 win in Decemeber. It is highly unlikely to be a similar game this time around, with Liverpool in such amazing form. The game comes just before an international break for the Reds, that sandwiches the game against United with another top four six pointer against Arsenal.
