Goals from Philippe Coutinho and Steven Gerrard ensured that Liverpool put an end to their poor form by defeating Queens Park Rangers 2-1 on Saturday. It would be a lie to say that the Reds performed brilliantly, but they did what was required. Let's take a look at each individual performance, and rate it out of 10.

Simon Mignolet: A quieter afternoon for the Belgian number one, although he may have felt let down by the poor marking at a corner that cost him his 14th Premier League clean sheet of the season, as Leroy Fer volleyed home. Other than that he didn't have much to do, and commanded his defence well. 6

Emre Can: One of Liverpool's shining lights this season had looked slightly weaker at right-back since moving there a couple of games ago, put showed his versatility on Saturday as he put in a dazzling performance at full-back. Making seven successful tackles, more than any other player in the league this weekend, it's surely only a matter of time before Can is moved into his preferred central midfield role. 7

Martin Skrtel: Not his best performance this season by any stretch of the imagination, but admittedly not his worst. He lost Fer for QPR's only goal of the game, but came back to win a penalty as Nedum Onuoha hauled the Slovakian over as he attempted an audacious overhead kick. Aside from those incidents he was solid, as a lacklusture QPR attack gave him few troubles. 6

Dejan Lovren: A steady improvement has been shown by Lovren in recent weeks and it continued here. He must also share some blame for the goal, but looked assured and confident in other cases. He could have also scored his first league goal of the season, had Robert Green not saved his strong header. 6

Glen Johnson: As his time on L4 ticks down, Johnson isn't leaving us with an excellent lasting memory and it showed against Rangers. A dispirited performance at left-back, he failed to offer much when attacking and didn't particularly excel defensively. Possibly the last time he'll adorn a red shirt at Anfield, and it's safe to say he's not going to be largely missed. 4

Steven Gerrard: The statistics will tell you that Gerrard missed a penalty but redeemed himself by heading in the winner late on, and that largely summed his game up. Paired in a midfield pivot with Jordan Henderson, Gerrard struggled to get a foothold on the game for long period, but the image of possibly his last goal in a Liverpool shirt will stay with him forever. 6

Jordan Henderson: One of Liverpool's standout performers. The captain in-waiting was constantly troubling QPR with his quick pressing and accurate passing, and really should have got an assist when his excellent pass to Raheem Sterling was spurned wide by the youngster. 7

Raheem Sterling: Sterling's poor form continued through this match as the 20-year-old struggled to make an impact, constantly losing the ball and missing a great chance in the first-half. Since suggesting he was too good for the contract Liverpool were offering him, Sterling's performances have dropped in quality hugely, and it looks likely that we'll have to wait until next season for him to recapture his best form. 4

Adam Lallana: Looking to regain some match fitness after another injury lay-off, Lallana looked fairly impressive throughout the game as his dribbling and skill caused the visitors problems throughout. He's played better this season, but games like this won't make him lose any sleep. 6

Philippe Coutinho: Man Of The Match. Yet again Liverpool's catalyst for success, the tricky Brazilan curled in the opener before assisting Gerrard for the winner. Coutinho looked streaks ahead of everyone else on the pitch throughout, and his stock is rising in each and every game. 8

Rickie Lambert: Handed a rare start in place of Mario Balotelli, Rickie Lambert enjoyed one of his most productive afternoon's all season. Keeping things simple, the target man's strength allowed midfield runners to find space, and he showed some superb awareness to assist Coutinho's opener. 7
