Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho was the big winner at the club's official end of season awards on Tuesday night, as he scooped no less than four prizes, admitting that he will treasure them all.

Coutinho was the big winner at the ceremony, as he took home trophies for each of the following: Performance of the season, Goal of the season, Supporters Player of the Year and Players Player of the Year. It was hardly a surprise, considering the Brazilian's brilliant form this season, but he emphasised how he will treasure every one of them.

"It's very important for me because these awards were chosen by my fellow teammates and the supporters," he told Liverpoolfc.com.

"My teammates are the people I work with all year round, so being recognised by them makes it an important award for me which I treasure a lot."

Coutinho won goal of the season for his long range strike against Southampton in March, curling in from 30 yards on a rainy day at St Mary's. He commented that it was his favourite goal he has scored this year, and told of how he thinks the team must improve next season.

"I loved that goal and it was probably my most beautiful goal of the season," he concurred.

"Hopefully [next year] we will fight for the first four places and the title, like last season. Unfortunately, things didn't go our way this season but we hope that next season we will be there or thereabouts."
