According to the Daily Express, Manchester City have identified Ross Barkley as their top target to replace Yaya Touré.

The Ivorian midfielder is reportedly keen on a move away from the Etihad Stadium and could inform Manuel Pellegrini of his desire to leave in showdown talks with City officials this week. The Premier League champions have already commenced preparations for the departure of the 31-year-old and are expected to approach Everton in the near future.

City are yet to make any official contact with the Toffees over Barkley.
