According to the Daily Star, Tottenham Hotspur have entered the race to sign Manchester City full-back Micah Richards.

The 26-year-old has been told he has no future at the Etihad Stadium with the arrival of Bacary Sagna placing him further down the pecking order at City. Everton and Southampton are also interested in the former England defender who could be available for as little as £5m, but Mauricio Pochettino's men have a financial advantage over their competitors.

The Mirror report that the blues are unlikely to pursue out-of-favour Real Madrid midfielder Isco this summer.

(Isco could leave the Santiago Bernabéu after just one season)

Manuel Pellegrini had been linked with a fresh move for the 22-year-old after Álvaro Negredo was ruled out for three months with a broken metatarsal. The arrival of James Rodriguez from Monaco has all but forced Isco to call time on his short stay with the European champions, but a source close to Manchester City has revealed that he will not be moving to the Etihad.

The source said: “Unless there is another injury to another key player, then Mangala will be the final addition to our squad in this transfer window.”

However, the Daily Star believe City could still move for Isco whose agent revealed he will leave Real Madrid.

(Could Isco still make a move to the Etihad Stadium?)

Isco's agent, Francois Gallardo, said that: “There is a player at Real Madrid who arrived last summer and the next season will leave again.

“I don’t know whether he is to be loaned or sold. But it’s Isco.”
