According to Sunday People Sport, Carlo Ancelotti is interested in bringing Manchester City midfielder Yaya Touré to Real Madrid.

The Italian upset fans and players by sanctioning the exits of Ángel Di María and Xabi Alonso this summer and is keen to restore some power in the centre of midfield. Real Madrid's 4-2 loss to Real Sociedad only served to add to the sense of frustration at the Bernabéu, and Ancelotti is keen to ensure his side do not fail in La Liga for the second time in two years.

Touré refuted rumours that he was unhappy at the Etihad Stadium in May, but after a subdued start to the 2014/2015 season, questions have been raised over the midfielder's happiness at the club.
